The kimono shirt is shaped to suit both men and women. The pattern is cut from a vintage 'furisode' kimono, a formal kimono with long sleeves typically worn at coming-of-age ceremonies and weddings. Hand-painted with 'yuzen’, a resist dyeing technique made from rice paste. Center front placket with vintage shell buttons, handmade buttonholes, back yoke, side paneling, and single button cuffs. Adorned with a hand-stitched silk floral applique.
