A collection of past commissions — garments, repairs, and custom textile works, each developed individually from a client's materials, memories, or ideas.

Every piece begins differently: an inherited wedding dress, a worn family textile, a vintage kimono, or simply a concept discussed in the studio. What follows is a selection of finished work, shown here as a record of that process.

A Wedding Shirt, Made From His Mother's Dress

For his wedding, Adrian gave us a piece of family history: his mother's wedding dress. The commission became a one-of-a-kind kimono shirt, worn on his own wedding day, made in part from her dress and pieced together with antique silk textiles.

Sections of the original dress, including its lace trim, were incorporated directly into the shirt's hem — preserving a recognizable piece of the garment within the new one.

The piecing continues through the cuffs, where antique silk textiles are joined with fabric from the dress, built up in layers rather than concealed.

Each piece made in the studio carries a personalized edition label. For Adrian's shirt, a hand-embroidered sunflower — his favorite flower — was added inside the collar, a detail meant only for him to find.
