Kuwano x wAi wAi

Formed through Wai Wai, an initiative bridging studio practice and traditional craft, this release pairs Kuwano’s master hanten construction with my detailed hand stitching.

Each piece is embroidered entirely by hand using antique Nishijin silk thread from Kyoto on traditional Kurume crepe woven by Kuwano Shinken, a third-generation weaver in Kurume. Each piece carries the distinct mark of human hands and traditional Japanese craft.

Limited production. If you don’t see your size, please email me at info@considered-objects.com, and I’ll let you know the earliest delivery date.
